“Building Life Sciences Companies in Utah”

Women Tech Council presents Gary Crocker, speaking on "Building a Life Science Company in Utah", at a Tech Talk on June 22nd from 12:00 to 1:30.  A March 2011 Deseret News article by former Governor Leavitt titled "The Key to Jobs in Utah Lies in Life Sciences" emphasized the importance of this topic.  Come meet Gary Crocker, a pioneer in Utah's life science industry, and network with others who are committed to growth in this area.

Gary Crocker is president of Crocker Ventures, a privately-held life science investment firm funding technologies in the areas of biotechnology and medical devices. Since 2004, he has also been chairman of Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, a personalized oncology drug company. Gary Crocker is one of the pioneers of the life science industry in Utah.
